In a word, awesome. Took it out into the front yard, and places a couple of hundred yards down the street that were pure dark, I could see right into, and that was without the infrared illuminator on.
I love my night vision scope. :D

Are you talking about this D740 scope? (http://www.opticsplanet.net/itt-d740-d760-gen-3-night-vision-weapon-sight-riflescope.html)
They look quite nice.
I am currently torn between a NV scope and a knee mill.
Decisions....decisions:confused:

This the one I have, and the place where I bought it. It has the "Hand Select" tube in it, and is 72 lp/mm. Nice tube. :D

The body is made in Russia, and the tube is U.S. made ITT.

Night vision is one sector of technology where the price sure hasn't dropped any.

Actually it's just like other electronic's - for top end you still pay same price but performance has gone up - Low end/Old Tech stuff has dropped some but Latest bestest still cost you lots o' money but now you can see much better:biggrin:
