I want to order a u.s. cocking handle knob & rivet from dsa. Can anyone tell me how to change this over???

drive the pin out holding the plunger and spring, pull them out. take a drill and drill the rivit out from the back and pull it off. put the new one on, and place a small socket on the large part of the rivit and use a large punch to flatten the rivit from the underside. its pretty easy to do

does the US made knob and rivet qualify the whole assembly as US made, or is it just better? Seems like a cheaper alternative to replacing the entire cocking handle if so.

i wish just the knob was a US part, but you have to replace the whole frickin thing
