I hated the small Austrian selector on my STG clone. It was hard to operate, got stuck in the detents, and jumped past the fire position. I got an inch selector and just popped it into the hole after removing the little external stop pin with vise grips. It's that easy. Now the selector operates with just thumb only without changing my grip or using two hands. I don't know why everyone insists on the tedious machining and refinishing required to modify an inch selector rather that just using it exactly as it was designed to be used - shove into hole, put rifle down, 'cause you're done. ;)

I agree with Wannabe
Take out the old selector, take a large screw driver, place it on the stop pin to be removed, smack it hard & it'll pop off. Install Inch selector. You can do this faster than I just explained it. It is now a Semi only selector. works great too!
