Does anyone on this board from the San Diego area have a parking setup or know where in San Diego I can have it done?

Hello,

The only source I knew of was Dean of Dean's Gun Restorations but he moved. Tim La France can also do it I think but he is usually vey busy with police stuff. Another source is Mike Jackson. I don't have the contact info for Mike or Tim at this time because I just moved and I don't know where a lot of my stuff is. These guys all charge regular fees for the services that they provide. Think $150 +/- $30 or so. You can go into So. Cal. Gun and ask who they recommend. That's how I found out about these guys.

I'm still looking for someone who does this out of their garage and doesn't charge much because I have A LOT of parts that I want reparked and I won't send them out because they are damn near unreplaceable. I'm starting to gather materials to refinish but won't have them for a looooong time (i.e. months) due to space restarints and $$$$.

Anybody else have any ideas??? I'll ask Dean who he recommends if I can remember. HTH.

Respectfully,

Sean

I'm here in SD also, and I was thinking along the same lines until this morning. That's when I saw brand new metric lowers for sale in SN for only $40. I'm also tempted to just buy a brand new barrel for $99. That will solve the finishing problem, and give me spare parts to boot.
