What is the minimum length, width and depth needed for a park tank for FAL?

About a 5"x4"x30" tank would be the minimum size to do a barreled action, but I would go with a slightly larger tank to be able to do all kinds of guns.

Thanx sledgehammer! I've been wrestling with the idea of using Brownell's but I've got the material and equipment at work so what the heck.
Any disadvangtages of doing the barrel seperate from the receiver?

Brownell's tanks are 6" x 6" x 40". These tanks are huge, and made to handle almost any project a professional gunsmith might come across. My favorite park tank is 5" x 5" x 30".

"Any disadvangtages of doing the barrel seperate from the receiver?" There is a good chance of damaging the finish while installing the barrel. For this reason, I like to install the barrel first, headspace, test fire, and then finish.

My small park tank is 10 x 6 x 38, it works ok for most stuff. My large tank is 12 x 14 x 48 and you can do stuff like 1919A4's, large batches of barrels, lowers, whatever you want. The large tank has rails on the sides, end and top to suspend parts from for a better finish. HTH, Dan.
