Has anyone her had any experience with the Trilux? I have a DSA Carbine with a rail on top. Will it work with this?

you are going to need the top cover that mounts it......unless someone, somewhere make a adapter that will allow it to go on a weaver or picatinny rail.

it's weid sight set up, that is for sure......it's got a pointer that is upside down, and it sits left of the center axis of the rifle........it's a strange sight.

Hmmm, sounds a little strange. Any thoughts on the Trijicon Reflex? I am trying to stay away from a battery run sight. The ACOG is a possibility but the cost is rather high.

The top covers are fairly easy to find.
There is a also a mount adaptor that takes the unique QD fitting & makes it fit a weaver type base. It came from TAPCO.
It is very different, but not bad.
The offset is 1/2" & if you set this at 100 Yds it will allways be 1/2", better than most can group.
The post takes a bit of getting used to, but it works very well, just think of it as a front sight post.
Among the advantages are the use of the carry handle, the lack of interference with the ejection port, and the balance of the rifle with it attached.
The biggest complaint about it is the fairly short eye relief. I've never had a problem with this, but I don't for the life of me know why.
