I need a scope mount for my savage 110FP (with new accutrigger) for a 30MM scope. Ive got a burris set, which includes the wonderful double dovetail rings that are IMPOSSIBLE to install (and then you sit there trying to align the stupid things for 30 minutes), not to mentioned i put some burrs on the edge of the rings, which scratched the finish on my BRAND NEW $700 scope. Anyway, i want a good mounting system that doesn't use that evil double dovetail and doesn't cost over $100. (there is a point in which spending more money does NOT hold the scope tighter, and spending over $100 for something that looks like it took about 10 minutes to make with a lathe and a drill press seems a little on the obscene side. Any suggestions?
