What's a good scope for a 22 pistol?I plan on shooting it at the range and maybe hunting with it.I'm looking for something in the $100-150 range.

I like my 2x scope with fine duplex cross hair. It's a Bushnell. I have it on my ruger 22/45 and it's fun for rested shots at small targets at 25 yards like shotgun shells. Occasionally, I can knock over a pop can at 100 yards. It does make the gun pretty heavy and crosshairs are too fine for my big shaky hands offhand.
Originally got the scope for .357 revolver and it worked well for that but it stays on the 22 pistol now for plinking.

Weavers and Bushnell scopes are peachy for 22s

But....
I'd definatly see if i could go for the Leupold M8-4x. Its a fine scope, and I think you could find a good used scope in that price range. You'll thank yourself later.
