A buddy of mine wants to sell his HK SL7 for him as he's not very computer savey.

Basically what he has is a 90-95% condition SL7, comes with the standard mag and four 10 rounders (factory HK mags, 2 of which are still in original wrap), extra rubber buttstock and a HK quick detachable scope mount/rings along with a cheapie B-square mount.

Also comes with a HK cleaning kit.

I have no idea what's it worth, any ideas?

Did they come in different calibers?

Thought the SL7 was only in 308.

Has a polygonal barrel, and scope is not included, unless you want to buy a Zeiss Divarti scope also.

Some of the HK SL7 mags are marked both .243 and .308. Not sure if the other caliber rifles were imported into the US though.

technical review on the HK SL-7 (from June 1985 SOF magazine)

The SL-7's were only imported in .308 win.
The 770's were made in .243 and .308 and the SL-7's use the same magazine as the 770's, hence the .243 markings.

Wish I had the money, my 770 is lonely.
