Luck? Seems there is a lot of that running around these days. If you don't want to refinish, DSA's (http://www.dsarms.com/) re-parked G-1. If you don't mind refinishing TAPCO's (http://www.tapco.com/) $99 G-1 is the best deal in town. Also consider one of Dan's (http://www.falparts.com/) IMBELs, they are nice!

My opinion, do not undertake this without investing in Gunplumber's (http://www.arizonaresponsesystems.com/) video and workbook. You will save yourself a lot of frustration and risk.

Get some tools. You cannot screw in the barrel with adjustable wrenches and such. Even if you read of success without tools it cannot be guaranteed and if you damage a receiver you might be out almost twice the amount these tools will cost. You may find homemade versions of the following by doing a search here but you can save some time purchasing pre-made ones.

1) Barrel vise
2) Action wrench
3) plug gauges .254"-.276" or stepped gauge rod
4) Buttstock tool

Optionally

5) Gas nut wrench
6) Extractor tool
