I mounted it on my tricked out Kaiserworks FAL Para carbine and the set up works great. Some things to think about when using a NVD behind the aimpoint. The aimpoint mount is too low without the half moon riser they sell ( I already had one) Now it is perfectly in line. When using the built in illuminator there is reflection on the aimpoint lens. Do not use it at the same time! The optional illuminator works great, no reflection. The gen. two is very clear but I never saw a different gen., I have nothing to compare too.

+1 on not being able on use the illuminator on the NV sight.

I have a Night Optics Gen 2+ NV monocular behind an EoTech and you can't use the illuminator without overloading the optic due to glare off of the EoTech housing.

A good secondary illuminator mounted on a rail solves the problem. It's a bummer because it adds wieght and yet another battery, but for pitch dark indoor work, it is essential.
