I need to know if the suit scope can be removed from the mount, not the reciever cover mount, but on the scope itself without affecting the scope internals.

No, sorry. The mount is part of the same casting used to make up a large portion of the optical tube.
What are you trying to do, Maybe there's another way to skin this cat?

Brownknees,
The mount that is attached to the scope itself, can be removed without distribing the internals of the scope by allowing moistier in through the three screw holes that hold it to the scope. Good news is, the screw holes do not go all the way through into the scope itself or at least the British version I have, do not!
The reason I have to seperate the scope from the mount is, so that my local smith can attempt to weld it. The mount is cracked all the way through on one side, where it narrows down just under the front of the scope.
Keep him in your prayers, as he stated some allumiun casting do not take the weld. I do not remember what he actual term he used. he will spot check on another spot before attempting the crack.
If not, then a co-worker said he has a liquid metal thats stronger than liquid metal, that you can actually grind on.
Thanks,

I'll be darned! There are 3 screws there!
On my scope they are covered with some kind of sealant & then painted over. It took a while to find them!
Thanks.
If all else fails you may be able to repair the crack with steel filled epoxy.
Just force it into the cracked area with a flat object & then smoothe out the outer "blobs'.
