I have determined that the Leupold scope I have mounted on my M1A has had it. It is about 15 years old and is beginning to give me problems maintaining zero. So I think it is time to look for a new scope.

I have been reading the scope reviews on the various forums and have gotten some vaery useful info. However, I just saw an add in SGN about the Nikko Sterling scopes. Research comes back very limited with most of the reviews from air gunners. However, I like what I have read about the Nighteater model and how it is made for high powered rifles. All of the scopes of this model come with adjustable parralax, a feature I definitely need due to my tired, old eyes.

Anybody out there got one of these scope? How about out cousins down under. These scopes were supposedly designed for the kangaroo hunter in mind.

Bought a 4x32 to mount on a air rifle ended up mounting on a .22. Have only used it to get sighted in scope was pretty clear for what I paid for it.Can't speak for all models but I'am happy enough with one I got. Leupold has a lifetime warranty might try getting your scope fixed.

I have one of the Nikko Stirling Gold Crown 3-9x42mmAO riflescopes that came in a package deal with a Howa 1500 rifle.

For such an inexpensive scope, the optics are pretty clear and, cosmetically, it looks quite nice. I haven't shot the rifle that it's currently on enough to say much else about it except that the adjustments worked well enough to zero the rifle (it's mounted on a heavy barrel Howa 1500 in .308 Win.).

Keep in mind that, although an Australian company may be marketing these scopes, the scopes themselves are made in China (who could have figured). At least, that's what the box that mine came in says...

Crap crap and more Crap...spend some more $$ and get better mate, I have been around these since I was a kid (made in the Phillipines back when) and some get reasonable results and others get garbage.
