Well I got to try my mount out today on the .243 FAL and noticed something.
The brass was going forward.

Did not think about it till I came home and noticed a dent right in the middle of each case. Looking at the cover I see where the brass is hitting the sharp edge on the right hand side of the cover and pitching them forward.

Anyone else seen this? Not sure if I want to grind on it or work on the ejector.

Even the std Tapco cover does this. The walls are much thicker and catch the brass more so than the OEM covers.

It does that with my standard TAPCO cover. You could grind a relief to thin down that area, or you could glue on a "bumper" of some sort. I would not want to change the ejector.
