Just bought a 6x24x42 scope to put on a CZ 453, fun gun. CTD; sugg. retail, $612. /$125 buyers club.

Where is it made? How clear are the optics?

Made in Japan by Hakko[?] for S&W, optics are pretty good, but its no Ziess.They have several other S&W scope options also. Cheaper Than Dirt is where I found it.

If you go to Gunaccessories.com you can see a good pic of the scope and the retail price of $619.95. I am not affiliated with Cheaper Than Dirt, just wanted to pass on a good deal.

I would take that "sugg. retail, $612" with a whole shaker of salt. I'm no riflescopes marketing expert, but, I don't know of any Hakko product, even re-branded, that commands $612. Perhaps S&W put an MSRP of $612, and couldn't sell any.
Not knocking your purchase, machinist. If it rates with other $125 scopes, then it was a fair price. :) How does it compare to the Simmons 44 Mag, the Nikon Buckmaster, or Bushnell Trophy?
