I have this bayonet that I was told was Yugoslavian, but, I have not found anything to verify this, I have found on a couple of the Bayo collectors sites, similar ones but not quite the same, I found one Yugo made that had almost identical handle, pommel, hilt and very similar scabbard, but the blade was not even close, all of the ones that I have found are single edged, this is double and not molested/sharpened, both bayo and scabbard have matching serials, any info would be greatly appreciated! We have FAL gods and knife gods, any chance of someone being a bayo god?

Looks to me like an FN-49 bayo

Rather well-used FN49 bayonet. Not particularly scare. They appear on eBay from time to time and sell for $25-50. Yours appears to be Egyptian from the wear. Other countries' FN49 bayonets are usually in pretty good condition.

This bayo is an FN Model 1949 Short Export, made for the Begian contract and used by the various Belgian armed forces on their 30-06-chambered FN-49s. By the serial number, this bayo was produced near the end of the original contract production run.
