Anyone tried one of these, thinking about putting one on a FAL. Comments?

I have buddy that has one.
He LOVES it.
Says, it beats an ACOG all to hell.

You mean the 3x25 CQB/IL?

Tried it on my G3. Not sure if I'm going to try it on my STG-58, too. It's kind of high on the G3, probably on a FAL too.
It's maybe a bit too specifically designed for the AR-15, especially the height and eye relief. The eye relief is so short it's a bit difficult on the G3 B&T mount. Not sure if it would be a problem on a FAL.
Otherwise quite a nice scope, good optics and a nice rugged feel.
Maybe I'll have to try it on my AR-15 to see if it works better with that, as I guess it's intended.

Thanks guys, I'm going to give one a try. If the eye releif doesn't work for the FAL, I can use it on another rifle.

I had to take my regular scope off mine so I gave the IOR a bit of a try.
The eye relief won't be a problem. It's a bit high but not impossibly so.

Well, its been about a week since its been ordered so it should show any day now. I hope there is enough material on the bottom of the mount so I can machine a channel to allow use of iron sights as a backup.
