Hey guys !
Does anyone use a Kill Flash / Sun Guard anti reflection device with the Hakko TAC-1 ?
What size do I need ? As the TAC-1 is a copy of the Aimpoint , will the same size for aimpoints fit the TAC ?
TYIA ,

Check very carefully before buying any "honeycomb" style ARD.
They cause a great loss of optical quality. In fact it is exactly this honeycomb effect that photographers use to soften pictures.
I had a 40mm one for a 3~9X40 that caused so much loss of image quality at 9X that I returned it.

Thank you , brownknees,
I've already considered that. As the red dot sight is only for close range, I'm not to concerned about it.

Hey Mike !
At the moment I'm a little too busy during the week, but I'll try to get with some optics dealers and see what they could come up with.
As soon as I've got some news, I'll let ya know.

Have heard that the Aimpoint Kill flash will fit but needs to be modded a bit.

Thanks, gunnut 1 !
I will give it a try, what modifications are you talking about ?
It could either be a little too small in diameter or a little too large, both is no problem .

After doing some testing I think that the ARD takes away from the quality and clarity of the image.
I guess I'll just do without.
