Hello - I'm a newbie and could use some info.
What size are the threads on an Israeli HB 7.62 barrel? I've been told that they're 11/16 x 24 RH - but the O.D. on my barrel is about .986 - so this does not sound right.

Also - what are the key differences between an Israeli receiver and a regular metric receiver. Thanks for any info.

I believe the Izzy is threaded with a 25 x 1,5 metric thread - meaning 25 mm dia. and 1.5 threads per mm of thread length.

11/16-24 is for the muzzel end
1-16 for the breach end
Doesn't matter what they are, but what you want them to be. And that's fit your receiver threads and your UK flash suppressor adapter which supports the bi-pod
Right? These two die's are all you need along with a set of Vermont gage pins to selecting your locking shoulder.

I've worked these die's on Izzy barrels with hand tightening to overcome the Mag Oxide or Park on the threads. They also clocked up just fine, even on a Hesse receiver. :)
