I want some sort of optic on my Imbel
TRILUX or ELCAN?
I would like to have it as close to 'issue' as possible.
finding either in a complete package is proving a bit difficult.

How much do you want to spend?
There is a BIG price difference!
Personally I like the SUIT. Because:
1. it doesn't block the carry handle.
2. it doesn't ding up my brass.
3. It's tougher than a retired roller derby queen.
Just my Opinion ( for what it's worth.)

I'm drawn mostly to the trilux.
I really regret not buying one when they were plentiful.

I've seen more SUITs on the marketplace forum lately, than I did several years ago; and at the same or better prices prices.
Just keep an eye out for 'em.

If you can afford it, buy the ELCAN, it is a much better system.

I have an Elcan on one of my FALs, and have no complaints. Excellent optical quality and FOV. It is kinda heavy, though. Much more expensive than a SUIT.
Sitting on top of a DSA mount, it is just high enough for me to shoot right handed/left eyed. Looks silly that way, but I'm practically blind in my right eye.
Might be too high above the bore for your tastes, but then again, so might the SUIT.

Elcan would be nice, but cost more than my rifle. I got my SUIT for $80.00 .
For me it's a range rifle, plinker/ wallhanger, and the SUIT meets both those standards.
Get both!
