I tried to do a search but M9 isn't 3 letters so...no go. Anyway, are any of the M9 copies out there decent pieces? I remember a while back, there was a guy in the marketplace selling some of the chinese or taiwanese copies. The ones he had didn't last long. I have had people tell me that some of them don't fit on a rifle very well.

If anybody has any experience with these, an opinion or recommendation would be appreciated.

If you are looking for a M9, check out this guy on eBay. He is great to deal with.

are these actually a good knife or are they like most bayos - good for stabbing and prying, but won't hold a true edge?

I sharpened mine. They will make a great survival knife. The steel is hard and I am still not satisfied with the edge.
