Is there a forum like Gunsmithing & Build It Yourself that handles SKS questions?

Or, do any of you late night owls know how to remove the grenade launcher from an M59/66? I've remove the pin, but it still won't move. Tomorrow I'll try Gunplumber's cure all and put the torch to it, but I have no idea if it was just pinned or threaded and pinned or what!

It's threaded! I had a blown-up barrel, and I was removing the parts to attempt to salvage them.

I ended up cutting the barrel between the front sight and the grenade launcher, then chucking the grenade launcher up in a lathe. I turned the barrel stub until it was almost gone, and it unscrewed part-way.

...I wish I could remember if it were left or right hand threads....

Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with..
