They look excellent and rugged, similar to a SUIT but for AKMs. Pricey though.

I have not seen one, but you can bet it is simply a Russian version of a SUIT scope. They copy everything. Hope they have a better mounting system than the original SUIT.
Why too high priced if you ask me.

Have looked thru one that was on top of Sako92, not for humans or you need atleast 4" cheek pad.
mount seemed solid, scope isn´t detachtable like SUIT
IMHO buy one of these if you need to have something russian on rifle:

I second Finski on the PO scopes, very nice- but they're really hard to find (in my experience) in stock anywhere.
I'm also a firm advocate of the PKAS

Friends dont let friends buy Kobras without at least looking at a PKAS. VERY nice.
I doubt it's even a Russian copy. It's probably a batch of SUITs some importer/distributor hashed together with a cheapass Belarus mount and voila!- a new optic is born!
Are you putting this on a AK or one of it's 54r cousins?

it's a commercial copy of the soviet IP29 scope for the AK74, although by changing out the cam it can be used for a AKM
I saw the military one at the OGCA a few years back that had the hammer and sickle imprinted on it with a date in the 80s........wish now I would have bought it, even if I don't perticular like scopes, it would have made a nice addition to my soviet militaria collection

I believe the correct description for a soviet copy of the SUIT would be "êîñòþìski"
:uhoh: :]
Sorry, just my weird sense of humor!

Have a Soviet one with Tritium still working on a 74. works great. Just like the Brit sight with a few mods which make it soldier proof.

So, can you put a scope on a left side folding para like the Bulgarian ones? Or does the mount get in the way of the stock? I am thinking I'll pick one up. Then eventually I hope to get a Bulgarian para 74S.

I saw one at the last gun show I attended. I didn't know anything about them so I passed on it.
