After a little perusing of this site, I went and bought a Benchmade knife. Before I knew it, I fell into the deep, deep, deep, abyss of knife buying! (sob) My only hope is that this will not be nearly as bad an addiction as FAL's-- I hope----
Now I have a Benchmade BM806SD2 AFCK Axis Lock Combo Edge knife ordered.
I will use it mightely, cherish it, and possibly-- have to have another. I sadly have no logical reason for this purchase, as I have other knives that I could have used..---- I think I need help.

I find knife collecting to be at least as addictive as gun collecting, only more dangerous. The reason is, you think you can afford more, and more because they are relatively inexpensive. It does not take long before you have spent way more than you should have, and way more than for a nice gun or two or three.
My favorites are the classic pocket knives and sheath knives (manufactured). You could go TU on Case alone. Then there are the classic autos, same thing there but more expensive. So far I have done well keeping myself out of trouble and will refuse at all costs to look at a SMKW catalog. I have very few.

Oh I feel for you... thats how I started. I wanted a good knife and was a gun nut. It was a few years back when I had first got the internet... It started easy enough... went from thinkin a fifty dollar knife was too much to carrying knives that cost over five hundred and a couple at a time at that! Oh and I have piles of them now.... Run away while you still can...
