From left,
Emerson CQC7 ( I HATE saying "Benchmade" sorry)
A J. Marttiini (Finnish knife, very hi carbon, very strong worker)
Camillus USMC issue "Kabar". (Issued to me in 1976)
Frost stainless "Dock" knife (my main surf fishing blade)
My "Bulldog". The first knife I ground. Walnut handles grown on homeplace
A 'Tom Barminski' Handmade in CO. (gift to me, never used for anything)
Telephone lineman's splicing knife. (Best patch knife I have had)

Top: Obviously a US Bayonet. I don't know what to call it, but I like it. Marked 'US" with serial on one side and 'S A' with bursting bomb and 1909 on the other. Fits my 03-A3 and would go on the Garand I used to have. Looks to be Chrome plated. I doubt if it is Nickel.

There's a good number of semi-boring blades around here. #1 Son has pilfered most of them. I will try for more pics, and hopefully better ones, another time.

Looks very good! Love the Camillus Ka-Bar especially (but then again I'm a bit prejudiced myself).

The bayonet - nice. Looks like it was made for the 03 but obviously as you said would fit the 03A3 perfectly as well. They're nice to have too.

The O3 bayo should be a chrome plated parage bayonette.

The mora is a great knife that is terribly under appreciated.

Nice job on your first knife grind there.

owl, a few of mine that I keep hanging on the wall (most of the rest are either locked in one of the safes or in various vehicles and such).

These are the ones I like to grab when I want to open stuff (and can't find the other ones)...

Man - o Man ! Nice array. I especially like the wee blade on the wrap of shock cord. A very deft guide does nice work with that little shank !

I bought #1 Son one of the new Kabars from a board member. A bit large for my liking, but a fine blade it is. Looks like one in your pic, albiet yours seems to have some shinies on the haft.

?????

Duuuhhh, the "shinies" are the pegs they hang from. Exskwuse me !

I'm sorry the picture is sideways (kind of makes the screws really look funny). My Camillus Ka-Bar is locked up right now. I'm not too sure I want to hang it up - though considering that most of those knives were custom made I probably should hang it as well. Going to have to find another wall at this rate.

I've got quite a few folders too but most of those are either in one of my purses (only place to put one when I go to work) or in the truck, car, etc.

Around my house it's a bit dangerous to walk into my bedroom (or about anywhere else come to think of it).

here's another. My Dad made this a few years ago. His hand is nowhere near what it once was. IIRC he was 72 or 73 when he threw this together. He was going on a road trip to a larger city and wanted a formidible self defense weapon. His experiences on Tarawa in WW2 (in his words) led him to this design. Dad is a paraplegic, so any use of a weapon is going to be close quarters.

Dad says this should serve well "a-comin' and a goin' " as he puts it.

Hey TLynn:

Izzat a TOPS on the "top"? The one on the [actual] right, w/the paracord wrapped grip?
I have the Gerber, and it's lil' Bro; the Ka-Bar, and the TOPS. WOnder what the aluminum(?) handled Tanto point unit is? A folder? Maker?
Inquiring minds wanna know. ;)

Paul, that is a custom knife. In fact that knife, the two tiny knives and the knife with the micarta handle (tanto point) which is not a folder are all made by the same gentleman. He posts or did post over on AW and I truly can't remember his name as it's been several years now. Bad of me I know but I'm getting forgetful the older I get. The Tanto one was actually made as a trade item for a AK trigger group that he wanted and I had (American made so it added to his parts count). I'd given away my AK-47 and didn't see a need to keep it so I agreed to the trade.

I have never seen a TOPS so truly don't know what they look like for sure.

The "tanto" looks to be niter blued with a scrimmed ivory scale. I can't tell from the picture if it's chisel ground on not. Am I anywhere close?:?

The bayo is an M1905. Only parade/color gaurd models were chromed.

hso, the handle is actually micarta which has been scrimshawed lightely. He didn't do a bad job of the dragon or the tiger either.

I'm not familiar with niter blued but it's actually closer to black. I just took it down to get a close look at it and it does look to be chisel ground (though not being an expert I do not wish to be quoted on that part).

While a pretty knife this is not one I use as it does not feel right in my hand. I do like it though as it was built for me, but not being there he had no way of knowing exactly what my grip was.

TLynn, would it be one of 'Bossman's' knives? He is the mod for the blade section of AW.

BTW, I am up to 6 of them now.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Never was good with names. I'm down to only 4 of his blades, gave one to somebody (or maybe it was a trade I don't remember which).

Good to see you by the way Hawk.
