I just came back yesterday from a 4 day camping trip near Buck springs in the ochoco national forest. We took care of some of the nuisance critters but the best we got was a badger. We had 2 teams of 3 and it was my team that found the badger. We chased it down and my friend shotgunned him out of the a hole he was digging I had my AR and snapped it up for a quick shot to the lungs and heart area. My other friend finished it off with his 22 because it was gurgling blood and wanted to get it over with quick. If I used the FAL instead of the AR for the badger I don't think the 22 would be necessary. We had a great time and I caught a nice trout. That trout was the only fish I have caught in about 3 years. I used 2 pieces of powerbait, casted it out and maybe a second and a half later it hit. The crazy fish took the bait, hook and even the weights!
