I know this isn't anything exciting for many states but Iowa has been shotgun, muzzleloader, bow for so long and it looks like this year there will be centerfire rifles allowed in part of the state. Now I gotta get a 5 shot mag for my STG58!

Hey what part of the state are they going to let you use a Rifle? I dont know why they wont let you use one in the whole state since most of it is Corn, Soybean fields with a Cattle or Pig Farm here and their!

I have a buddie that lives near Waterloo and was going to come out lastyear, but didnt get a chance. Hopefully soon I'll be able to get out for some hunting.

It is limited to the bottom two tiers of counties. :(
