I need some tips you got any? I just bought a aqua view and two green lights but wait... These are magnums with a 550,000 candle spotlights at the end36" long. I was thinking of setting up next to some sunking trees. And hitting the lights baby. Any help would be welcomed.

I don't know much about the lake you are fishing, but can give you some general help. Probably is to first get your boat set up so you know where everything is by touch. Be very familiar with your boat, put stuff back immediately in its place. You don't want a big tangle at night.
As for location, I like to set up where two creeks come together underwater at 15-25 feet deep. Back off to timber that is closest to this junction. You will have plenty of light with what you have for lights. Bait should start coming in about 20 to 30 minutes. If you get no baitfish ,either shad or minnows coming to your lights move! After you get set up where you have bait coming in, start fishing on the edge of the light, it tends to be best. But if you can fish multiple rods at different depths. The fish will tell you what they want. Good luck to you.!!
