One of these guys will be bbq'd for an AK build party here in Lindale Tx. Once you trap some it is easier to trap others. We have 7 right now, and have shot two last week. Plenty of meat for all involved. These guys really reproduce.

Make sure you castrate the males a good 2 months before you eat 'em.

The castration may help, but is not a set in stone requirement. The last 3 pigs I have shot were boars...........uncut and still some of the best tasting.

An old man told me the bad taste has more to do with hormones.....he said just cut a piece of fat off, throw that in the ole frying pan and if it stinks......get rid of the hog. If not, enjoy!!

OK I give up! How in the heck are you trapping those piggies???

In Hawaii the locals chased them with the meanest dogs you've ever seen, when the dogs pin down the pig the guys would just stick a knife in em.

Looks like pork roasts and ribs for days!

homeland protector we make a circle with 3 cattle panels with a sliding door in it. That is the piece that is covered with wood paneling. There is a pan trip ion the middle that pulls out a pin and drops the door. It took us awhile to figure out that the door had to have a solid covering. Hogs would literaly tear up those metal panels! Then we have a holding pen hooked to the trap pen. That is what really seems to draw the other hogs. Since we have hogs in the trap, wild ones come to see them almost every night. Got another last night with the mighty mousegun. Someone else took a pic of it. It looks like the largest red brown one in the picture, only much bigger and meaner looking. Down with one 223 rd behind the ear at 75 yards.
