SVD handloading in 7.62x53R???

Well over at druganov.net they have an article about a finnish sniper in it he talks about an accurate load and he mentions 7.62x53R lapua brass - is this different form 7.62x54R brass?

Same thing, here in Finland we call it 53R (long story, can't remember all the details).

cheers mate just wanted to make sure its the fin/russian war thing i read - anyway cant wait to seee what accuracy i can get out of my brand new unfired russian TIGR sniper rifle - i managed to get it for 1500$nz thats about 1000$US

Lapua is the manufacturer. They make excellent although expensive brass.
