A simple "make it when you need it" formula that works well for Perch and Carp. I've also caught quite a few catfish off it too.
Box of Corn Flakes
Can of Big Red soda
In a bucket or small tub, pour Big Red soda slowly over corn flakes while mixing into a dough.
You'll want a firm , sticky mixture that will adhere to a hook, so don't worry about it being too stiff. If it is too stiff or dries out while fishing, just add a little water to revive the dough.
Store in a zip-lock bag, pinch off just enough to cover your hook and form firmly all the way up the shank of said hook, covering barb and all. Limit the size of hook according to species your fishing for.
