Fishing (and spearfishing) on the Sea of Cortez has been good.

Lake Fork report for 3/4/05.Crappie fished for 2 hours last night, 8:30 to 10:30.Caught 15 keepers many throwbacks.Used tandem jigs,1/32 oz top 1/16 bottom with tube jigs.Prefered color was blue and white with a few fish on black with pink tail.fish were about 15ft just over old hydrilla.Key was to hit hydrilla ,pull jigs loose and then doodlesock them (shake).Mostly male fish, I did catch several small 13-16 inch bass also.Great fishing!

My nephew (on left) stepson (3rd from left) and two friends had quite a trip.20 hybrids and a few sandbass the other afternoon.All on topwaters and slashbaits. Pic , a bit big: http://www.maasguns.com/pics/P1010114.JPG
Lake Palestine still puts out the fish!

Thanks for the reports. Lake Fork is on my list in the next couple of weeks. I've seen pics of monster bass taken at night near docks this past couple of weeks.

By the way, we still need to hook up and tear up some paper-mouths this spring.
