It's on here in Nebraska !!

Lots of action, plenty of Light geese in the area !!

Here's a Snow goose I got with my Baikal MP153 this afternoon.

Anybody else hunt "SkyCarp" ??

we have canadas here in Indiana---call them "flying rats". un fortunately the James bay flock which migrates thru here is "threatened" so we don't get any special season like you guys get with the white ones.

We do have a lot of local candians of the giant canada(these are the flying rats) variety that essentially don't migrate and the DNR and Feds allow us an early season in Sept. with a 5 goose limit. It isn't doing much good because all the crops are still standing and the geese are still hanging around the apartment complexes and golf courses.

Actually, pigeons are sky-rats, canada geese are more like sky-coons (similar coloration and taste :uhoh: )

Are you telling me they are NOT like "Rib-eye of the Sky?"
