Looking for some ammo pouches (or a vest) for my Calif. 7.62mm FAL. Need to hold the loaded 10 rd. stripper clips (SKS versions won't work, as not wide enough). Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Try a regular steyr mag pouch too, it should fit fine. After all, the 20 round mags it was made for are only 10 rounds stacked side by side.

I didn't know they made 10 rd strippers for .308. Aren't they awfully hard to strip cartridges from?

Only the first time they are used. Put a drop of Militec on the rim / insides of the stripper and my wife can use them.

Cool. Who makes them/where do you get them?

I got mine from the good people at DSA. However, my Swiss brother-n-law swears he's seen 'issued' 7.62mm Nato on 10rd. stripper clips (thinks may be Swedish in origin) and is checking that out.
As to the web gear, I'm currently using a U.S.G.I. WWII ammo belt for the Garand (but with the 5rd. stripper clips). I'll try the Steyr, as well as a friend who suggested using old M-16 20rd. web pouches. Both should work I guess!;)

The M14 magazine pouches should hold 4 since they have room for two 20 round magazines.
