[Update 03/09/2005] The beta mags will be here Tomorrow. We're going to start processing orders received today so that we can get the magazines out as quickly as possible.

We're looking at putting together a group buy on 5.56/.223 Beta-C magazines with the accessory kits / pouches.

[update] Prices have been forwarded to all who have requested them in this thread. If you did not receive the PM please post and we will resend.

Delivery time is expected to be 6-8 weeks.

beat $199 (Impact Guns has them for that with graphite and manual) and you'll sell a ton. Put me down for one depending on price.

If you can offer an option w/o a pouch and accessories, that'd be better. paying $30 for a canvas pouch doesn't cut it for me.

Man I'd love to have one at a great price. Unfortunately....here in Ohio...if you stick one in your semi AR...Ohio calls that a "machine gun" subject to confiscation as such.

Question:

Can you swap feed towers in these? for instance, If I buy one for my AR, can I buy an HK tower and use it in my (well, I dont have on yet, but I WILL):) Vector 93?

Ok, got some information today.

Lead time is about 6-8 weeks.
The full kits are available with pouches in Black, OD, Woodland or 3 Color Desert
The basic beta mag's (without pouches, loader, etc) will be available

We do not yet have the official pricing on the bare mags but will add those as soon as we have confirmation on what the prices will be.

The loader isn't needed, but unless you like loading one round at a time by hand, I'd recommend at least the personal loader.

The only accessory you might need that is not included with the bare magazines is the pocket screw driver tool. This is used to take apart the beta mag for cleaning, in case of jams, etc. To my knowledge, you can substitute a regular screw driver or two for this.

The main things you need are the Magazines, Graphite Tube (the magazine does need to be lubed occasionally) and the Technical Manual.

IMHO, I recommend getting a loader and we've added those to the group buy ordering page on our site.

The bare magazine's include:

* Manual
* Pocket Screwdriver

Someone was looking for a UZI beta? I think on Gunbroker someone was selling a modified feed tower for UZIs and Ruger Mini 14s...ah hell it might of been Sturmgewehr too. I think the mod towers were $70-$80...also had one for the HK94 mag tower so you can use it on AR15s....If I find it again I'll post it here
