I've got it in my head to turn my K-31 into a scout rifle, and am debating whether to modify the existing walnut stock, or to use a Richards Microfit stock instead. If anyone has any experience using a Richards stock on a K-31 - in regards to quality and ease of fitting - I'd like to hear about it.
TIA

Boyds makes a beautiful walnut stiock for the swiss K-31...By the way I have a burris 2-7 on a scout mount...< !" 5 shot groups are easy with speer 130 gr HPs and 4759 powder... Slow maybe 1700 FPS....The same rifle with 175 Gr MKs with full bore loads ,opens up to 1.5" I think because of recoil...I'm going to put on a sling and see if that helps pull down the size of the groups with the 175MKs

Goju, that's an awfully nice stock I picked out for you. Might want to see if you can get something not quite so nice to tinker on. Cheers, buddy.
