I was thinking about just putting in some staked sights, but I think dovetailed would be better. So just curious if anyone here can do it? Oh, and they have to quote me a turnaround of less than 9 months!! There is a guy thats local to me that can do it but his time frame was......uh, "less than ideal."
price would be nice too.:)

Contact Bob Hunter thru his website
http://www.huntercustoms.com/
I had a Systema built and put Ashley Xpress sights on it, and Bob cut the dovetail for the front sight . Reasonable prices. And he runs a tight ship....
I sent him my slide a week before my scheduled "work" date. The work was done on my scheduled work date and promptly shipped back to me. None of the 6-8 week (read 6-8 months) BS you get from most everyone else.

What did it cost? Is there a quantity discount? I'd probably do all of my 1911's.
