I'd be interested but not at $300 ea! At that price I'll let the rich guys have at it. Also, since so there are so many 74m stocks out there it might just be a matter of time before they find their way over here at a more reasonable $60 price tag. I assume the stock would come with the rear trunion and mounting hardware?

Waiting for price, and what receiver/trunnion can these be fitted on?

For the price under $300 (very conservative more like $220) you get the complete Russian stock set and hardware. The won't be coming down in price any because they can't be imported. Bans are still in place with russia, and since bulgy folders are selling at around a $100 I doubt these would go down any.

g5 these will work on any Ak variant. You can put it on a 47, or a 74. There's a little milling work for the 3-pc from catch but that isn't essential and you can leave it out. These are very similar to the Bulgy side folders trunnion wise.

Working out the deal as you read this so it will be soon!!! In case your wondering, the price will be very nice, so don't depair... this is by no means for the rich, im a college kid.... :) I sure ain't rich. -myers

Ok guys, I know it's been forever and I apologize. I got an update and he said that his shipment should be coming in soon, the parts are waiting at a russian site to be shipped to the us. Everything is arranged on this side, so no problems there, Just keep checking back, and I apologize for the wait!

I have an AK-104 with the plastic folder and they are very nice, a marked improvement over the skeleton folder. They even have a trap door for the cleaning kit. When I got mine I paid about $220.00 and it took about 2 months for the person to get one. Jump on these they are very rare.

It would be really great if someone could post a picture of this type of folding stock.

here is a link to a completed rifle w/ the plastic folder. Technically its not just an Ak-74M stock as all AK100 series have this stock standard. The rifle pictured is an ak104.

No that particular rifle is not mine. The rifle pictured is an SBR built by AK-USA. But I do have an AK-104 built by them. They use a Krinkov/AK74 combination break to give you the legal 16 inch barrel. But mine does have the folding stock. Their website is AK-103.com. Another place to get hard to find original AK parts is www.tantal.kalashnikov.guns.ru. He gets them directly from Russia. Thats where I got my folding stock, it came with the complete kit (rear trunion and forward latch w/ all the rivets). He gets them in every once in a while but he sells out rather quickly. At one time he even had complete AK-74M kits for about $350.00. Here is a link to a picture of a rifle like mine (only mine has the plastic folder) http://ak-103.com/images/img_rif_104_lg.jpg
