This ought to satisfy all you gear hounds. It may be the ultimate vest. It seems to be well thought out, with everything in it's place. How do you rate it?

Have met the designer (Keld) and tryed on the vest, last year in Denmark

Crying out loud, was out of money at time so could not buy one

Overall the vest is well thoughtout and made, my gribes were that he didnīt have one in OD and that magpouches were not "perfect" for AK/Valmet.

It appears to use the Spanish closures on the pouches.

Very similar (and perhaps a product made by) Wyvern? Especially since the Brit PLCE is the basis for the design. Many Europeans are using the Spanish-developed soft latches on the gear.

This was a review I did months ago on a CCV with pics and what I thought of it. One's wonder vest will not make for anothers ideal.

While the concept is slightly better than soldier 95 and other waistcoat vest designs predominating the European region, there is nothing here that cannot be done with other vests or rigs.

Read on! and I welcome any and all comments - darrin-at-geardodotcom

Seeing the vest up close is really what is needed to give a fair evaluation.

From the pics I cannot tell the sewing quality, closures quality, etc. Somethings do stand out to me though.

Holster- Poor design. Doesn't cover the trigger, and on larger handguns such as pictured, the muzzle is too long......could hang up on other gear inside the vest or even go out the armhole of the vest....hanging up on the front sight on the draw when it is needed.

D Clip where the light sticks are tied to. - WHY is it so far IN on the vest? You have to open the vest much more than you should to access the accessories clipped there. Would be better positioned closer to the front opening of the vest.

Mag pouch closures - Secure but slow. There are much better ones out there. On my Eagle vest I have what they call "Silent Closures"..which are basically a piece of webbing sewn horizontally across the mag pouch, and on the mag pouch flap, a piece of webbing is sewn vertically....with a piece of heavy elastic sheathed in webbing with a metal hook attached to the elastic...the hook engages the horizontal strip and securely closes the pouch. I have used this type of closure for 10+ years. Never a failure, and totally secure. Quick too.

Pouch position....looks like pouches are sewn in place....the accessory pouches are too close to the top of the mag pouchs. Should be a bit of room to give better access.

Are there internal pockets on the vest?

Overall I think the vest is better than many Euro vests I have seen...but still has a ways to go to hit a High Speed Gene, Practical Tactical, Eagle level. My personal favorites right now are the Practical Tactical Mesa series (made by High Speed for Practical), or the Blackhawk DOAV. THe Mesa is USA made while the DOAV is made in Viet Nam. Not too keen on the made in Viet Nam, but the vest works and fits me pretty well.

Love to see this vest up close! Any trial samples? LOL
