It's a M16 pouch I thought would work well for a shotgun shell hip pouch for 3 gun as it has velcro. I can slap it shut when running,

It will also hold 5 of the .308 mags as seen in pic 1. I plan on using it for both, though will probably get some Magpuls for the mags at the next gunshow.

I really liked that it had a regular belt loop on back as well as ALICE clips.

On sale for $9.97! item #ARR-009 couldnt find it on CTD's website

sweet!

Do the mags fit comfortably or are they tight? Looks like a good buy for the price.

actually it's roomy. I figured that since it was for .223 mags I might have to fit them in sideways, but it works just fine, not tight at all. There are also 2 plastic stiffeners on the sides sewn in so it will retain the box shape when empty.

I dont know how much banging around it would do partially loaded with mags, but I'd prob toss emptys back in anyway.

Punching the stock number in the CTD website brings it right up. It's the standard SAW pouch, designed to hold six M16 mags or one 200rd SAW box. That's a good price, last one I bought was $12 on sale. They normally run about $14 around here.

Just a tip, use Mag-puls to make it easier to pull the mags out. Also the Mag-puls will help keep the rattle down.

Ya' beat me to it :)
The pouches for 30rd AR mags are a little deep for 20rd FAL or other .308 mags, using mag-puls or putting something in the bottom of the pouch makes them fit better.
The old standard M16 3-30rd mag pouch will also fit 2-20rd FAL mags quite nicely. They fit one in front of the other, just like the standard 2 mag M14 pouches, just remove the mag dividers, if yours are so equipped.

use magpulls and his five mag capacity will quickly drop to four in that knockoff SAW pouch.

Take an 8" long 1" wide piece of ducttape, double over, apply to edge of magazine, secure around with another piece of ducttape, and voila field expedient pulls at virtually no cost.
