I bought one of the Lee-Enfield's that CFS was selling. Got a No.4 Mk.I* Longbranch with a mirror-bright bore but not much finish left. What finish was left was the black paint and it all flaked right off while degreasing and from just handling.

So, I'm looking for a smith that can refinish the metal back to an original look. I'm not going for collector value here, just something that looks decent and as original as possible. Thanks!

I believe that Ken@ globelmilitarysurplus.com can! Since I talked with him about doing a Carbine that I had. I thought he said that he can make it look close to original finish. But dont qoute me on this.
