Anyone have any experience with the High Speed Gear ALIPAD on a medium and/or large ALICE pack?
Thanks,
Jason

After checking the cost on upgrading to a larger pack system(I have a medium ALICE and want more space, so was gonna buy a large plus the cost of the ALIPAD) I think I am gonna go with some sort of commercial internal frame pack, probably a Mountainsmith:) Thanks for the review though! If I get more interested in th eALICE I may add one of the pads though:)
Thanks,
Jason

You may want to check out the large alice pack from tactical taylor.

They modify the large ruck for a whole lot less than any of the commercially available packs out there.

WOW. expensive but based on one of the best designed packs ever; Dana Designs.
I have a Gregory Denali Pro, but it is Hooker Red and Hi-Viz.

BDSB? At 7400CI? Sounds more like BDSM) Nice looking pack, but WAY bigger(and WAY more$$$$) than I was looking for. I just bought a Mountainsmith Terra 4500(Forest green and black with some yellow) that I will try to do a review on soon. So far it seems well built and padded, the only downside is that it is made in Vietnam and the instructions suck(online and the pamphlet with the pack are both confusing AND contradict each other) in a way that reminds me of the Chinese to English SKS manuals from the early 90's:)
Speaking of flashy colors, anyone know why they do that? Some colors I can see from a Hi Vis stand point for safety, but others would tend to immitate game indicator colors(reds, whites, and blues that are similar to turkey colors for instance.) Even most of the tree hugger books I have read mention prefering earthy neutral colors.
Thanks,
Jaso
