Old Style LBE

Finally finished my old school LBE. This is similar to the type I used in the Army. Worked then, should work now.
H strap suspenders with the the back straps from the Y-back LBE suspenders used in the front, four mag pouches, two canteens and a butt pack I got many years ago. The first mag pouch on the left at Stubbygear.com, the others are unknown manufacter I got at a gun show. Everything else is MilSurp. I used zipties to hold everything on. Here are some pictures.

I brought my set of LBE back from Germany. (even have my compass and .45 hip holster) Since then I have another set with the ALICE H straps instead of the Y strap. When I first went in, we still had the canvas LBE with the old, always too short H straps.
