View Full Version : Tapco SAW grip fitment?
My Tapco SAW grip doesn't fit tightly against the lower receiver. I sanded the side radius slightly which helped a little but it still isn't tight.
Anyone else run into this? Is there an effective remedy?

Mine fit fine except that the trigger guard rattled... So I expanded the trigger guard a little so that the pistol grip pushed down on it and held it in place...
Works great now :)

Mine fit perfectly.
Do you have another pistol grip that does fit your lower so you can compare what needs to be shaved off?

Yup, fitment really is a word - used to see it all the time in the "veddy british" sports car mags. My Tapco grip fit fine as well. I seem to remember in one of the Tapco catalogs they discussed this. I believe they said they had seen a lot of variation in lowers when developing the grip, decided to mold to fit new ( as in, unused ?) lowers:? Anyway, I've teied mine on 4 lowers, 3 of em used, and mine fit fine on em all. Like the grip, too, for a working gun:)
