I recall several years ago polymer frames being offered for ALICE packs, but I don't see any offered now. Will the MOLLE pack board work with an ALICE pack and if so what mods(if any) are needed?

Thanks,
Jason

Jason, actually I don't have a clue about your question, but I got tired of seeing it out here all lonely, with no responses. Apparently nobody else knows either.

From conversations with guys I know, the Molle plastic frames are not liked because they break too easily. The old alloy frame ALICE packs are the one to have according to a couple guys I talked to.One was complaining about having to complete a march with only one shoulder strap left on his Molle pack!

My brother is in the Marines, he told me that at the end of his training cycle in excess of 50% of the MOLLE ruck frames had to be removed from service due to breakage, hope this helps, as the previous poster said, go with the alloy frame and ALICE pack, they are infantry tested and real world proven.
