LBE Compatibility: Or, will my Belgian pouches fit my Rhodesian web ge

Okay, I started this thread. While I have various web gear and LBE, I don't have any complete nationality-specific sets, other than US and East German. I've got lots of bits and pieces which can be used in concert, but many are generic or unmarked. So, if you have complete and/or identified web/LBE gear, post it for identification, as well as cross-compatibility.

...That's the fun of "gear-gathering"! You get to pick the best that suits *you*!, spend countless hours figgerin' a way to make it work, determine that a nice medium brown is just the color you need, spend enormous energy and $$ to get the right shade..... and then finding out that XYZ country did the same thing, in "Nutria", back in '72. :D

While I can appreciate the "perfect" set of pat58, blah-blah issue, not-a-mark-on-it. gear, for what it's worth.; I'd much rather see a set of US LC-2 mixed lot and color with a bit of this and that 550'd on, along with a smattering of honest low-crawl wear. While it may not be "regulation" or "as issued", it would have a tad more character.
And after all....isn't that what we're after, all?

I' like the Canuk dual pouches, very similar to the Izzy. Just don't like the way the velcro "sags" a bit, and dangles the pouch down and in at the bottom . Mebbe if I had the proper Canadian pattern web belt, with it's associated plastic attachments for those little "teats", I'd be happy???? Prolly not!

ok, dumb question. What LBE belt do the Izzie mag pouches fit, the holes on the US LCE 2 belt I have do not line up with the metal attachments on my Izzie mag pouches backs. Should I modify the pouches to take ALICE clips and go from there? Anyones input is welcome here.

Izzy pouches fit Izzy belts (of course!) They have loops of fabric made into the belt to recieve the hooks on the pouch. I stumbled on to one of these at a gunshow. East German belts have the same setup, but are made from green nylon if that matters. Well made and available in brand-new condition 3/$11.97 from Sportsmans Guide. Item AX4M-78993

I have a couple of complete sets of SA PAT 70 and I have an IDF COMBAT HARNESS. along with obligatory US ISSUE. my FAV is the SA PAT70 I think it was a well thought out set like the IZZY stuff.
